Fair Voting BC is a lean organization - everyone on the board is a volunteer and we have no staff. When you donate to us, all your contributions go directly to the costs of the activities we undertake.
Our primary ongoing expenses relate to our website and mailing list program (a few hundred dollars per year). We also have an "Initiative Fund" that we use at strategic moments (e.g., on several occasions, we have commissioned public polls when it has been helpful to get a news story out to build public awareness).
Beyond that, we tend to fundraise for specific campaigns (e.g., the Charter Challenge that we're working on with Springtide). Please consider contributing to any active projects shown below. Fair Voting BC is partnering with Springtide to challenge the constitutionality of our current voting system. Help us get ready to appeal to the Supreme Court! Note: contributions to the Charter Challenge are considered charitable donations and you will get a tax receipt for any donation over $25.
